In his professional road cycling career Pete road for some of the UK’s biggest teams such as Madison Genesis and IG – Sigma Sport as well as spending several years racing in Belgium.  He represented Northern Ireland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, won two National Criterium Championships, wore the yellow jersey at the An Post Ras and achieved several other high profile results in the UK national series.

Since retiring from professional competition Pete has moved into coaching.  He has worked with international athletes, aspiring pros and domestic riders.  In his first full season as a coach Pete has guided his athletes to race victories, category upgrades and pro contracts.

“I started my own coaching company because I felt that there was a need for a more personal approach to coaching.  I give my clients more than just excellent training programs."

"For me it’s vital that I find what excites them, what drives them and what holds them back.  From here we can come up with a plan to make positive changes to their training, nutrition and lifestyle in order to help them realise their full potential.  This is a two way process and I like my clients to be very much involved in the journey.”

"Pete and I share the same ethos when it comes to coaching. Our focus is on developing riders to be smarter racers as well as stronger athletes. We focus as much on the psychological side of the sport as the physical. It requires more than just a few training sessions to develop a rider and its the tactical side of the sport that we focus on.

"The main thing that differentiates us from the rest is that we offer riders the opportunity to race with us, like at the Tour of Ulster and Tour of the North, so we can see first hand what a rider needs to work on. We also train with a lot of our guys so we can see their strengths and areas for improvement first hand. Of course we still work with a lot of guys who aren't local to us but with unlimited contact time via email/Whatsapp its easy to keep up to date with feedback and ensure riders are getting the most out of their rides."
