In his professional road cycling career Pete road for some of the UK’s biggest teams such as Madison Genesis and IG – Sigma Sport as well as spending several years racing in Belgium. He represented Northern Ireland at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, won two National Criterium Championships, wore the yellow jersey at the An Post Ras and achieved several other high profile results in the UK national series.
Since retiring from professional competition Pete has moved into coaching. He has worked with international athletes, aspiring pros and domestic riders. In his first full season as a coach Pete has guided his athletes to race victories, category upgrades and pro contracts. He is now sporting director for Ribble Rechrg Race Team developing junior and U23 riders.
